What is ONE ROLL?

ONE ROLL explores the somewhat contradictory nature that exists when a collection of work is viewed as a single, thematic, project where any qualifiers labeling individual images as “good” or “bad” are no longer relevant; and–in a somewhat coincidental nature–how the individual images ultimately become stronger within the confines of a single unifying motif.

Each issue of the magazine consists of one entire roll of film: laid out and sequenced in the order the photos were taken. Everything on the roll of film is included regardless of the result or quality of each individual frame. 

ONE ROLL is a limited-edition film photography zine released bi-monthly. Each issue is limited to 25 copies and hand-stamped with the edition number on the statement page.
